Este mes de agosto nos han encargado un proyecto un tanto especial. Aprovechando la capacidad técnica y productiva de Polistmodel, nos pidieron que construyéramos una tabla de surf tipo retro fish para una cliente singular.

Una tabla de 4´4″ elaborada en madera de Paulownia con una cubierta de wengue recubierta de resina epoxy.

El equipo técnico de Polistmodel diseño una tabla hueca reforzada con nervios tipo panel de abeja. Posteriormente, se mecanizó en la celda de trabajo ABB tanto por un lado como por el otro para poder hacer su compleja geometría y el departamento de acabados le dio ese aspecto retro pero juvenil.

Para las quillas, copiamos unas quitas en tablero de abedul dándole su forma de manera artesanal.

Toda una experiencia.
