Polistmodel colabora con F.S.Bizkaia en la fabricación de su monocasco

Polistmodel firma un convenio de colaboración con Formula Student Bizkaia para la realización del bastidor del monocasco de competición FSB2015.

Este 2015 seremos parte del equipo F.S.Bizkaia construyendo el monocasco de competición FS2015. Una apuesta conjunta entre Polismodel y Formula Student Bizkaia en la que los estudiantes de Ingeniería de la UPV dispondrán de nuestra tecnología y tiempo para la construcción de una de las piezas más importantes del monoplaza FS2015.

Este año, como novedad y para aligerar aun más el monoplaza, se construirá el chasis de fibra de carbono; un material que ofrece una relación rigidez/peso superior a la del acero permitiendo obtener un chasis con un peso un 30% inferior a uno tubular, con alrededor de 3 veces su rigidez a la torsión.
