The future of the Machine tool in the IMH of Elgoibar
BY polistmodel IN News
We attended the conference organised by the City Hall of Elgoibar at IMH, with speakers such as Juan Ignacio García de Mutiloa, Deputy Head of Industry Department of the Basque Government, Guillermo Dorronsoro, Dean of Deusto Business School, Jose Luis Larrea, Honorary President of Orkestra o Michael Hauser, CEO of the Swiss company Tornos S.A., analysing the current situation of one of the industrial driving forces of the Basque Country.
For years, Hta Machine has been a major driving force of the Basque industry. In this 100 years, our companies have therefore made a place among the most cutting-edge international businesses, both in construction as in auxiliary industry. Basque companies had to innovate to offer customers a more cutting-edge machine larger than the Asian models. Auxiliary businesses such as foundries had to follow their pace and, obviously, so did Polistmodel.
In Polistmodel, we have decades of experience in the Machine Tool sector. With polystyrene patterns (http://www.polistmodel.com/en/casting-patterns/polystyrene-moulds/) for prototypes and special measures; and wooden patterns (http://www.polistmodel.com/en/casting-patterns/wooden-moulds/) for rather standard patterns, Polistmodel renders its services to most companies of the Machine Tool sector; not to mention resin patterns (http://www.polistmodel.com/en/casting-patterns/resin-moulds/), used for more demanding patterns such as heads; parts requiring further R+D efforts and suitable casting patterns. Thus, in Polistmodel, we are implementing all of our CAD/CAM technologies and gathering our efforts in casting to offer our customers parts which, once they have been assembled, will machine the most diverse, complicated and demanding projects in the world market.
